Multilingual Learners (M.L.)

Hope Academy of West Michigan seeks to provide every child, regardless of national origin or native language, quality and meaningful instruction.  We believe that Multilingual Learners (MLs) can reach their full potential when provided equitable opportunities that support the whole child through an environment that intentionally connects academic learning and social emotional wellbeing with life skills that foster career, civic and college readiness.

Students who are Multilingual Learners (MLs) at Hope Academy of West Michigan are provided instructional services through an English Language Development (ELD) Program which includes listening, speaking, reading and writing.  Individualized Language Plans provide students with goals and accommodations for language acquisition and academic support.
